1. Who we are (data controller)

The controller of personal data processed in connection with this website is NWU Trading Ltd. (trade brand: Arasgo), Merit Diamond Hotel, Alsancak, Kyrenia (Girne), North Cyprus (TRNC). 2. Data we process

• Enquiries. Information you send us by email or telephone, such as your name, contact details, company and the content of your message.
• Trade partner applications. Information you provide in the dealer application: company details, contact person, business activity and any other details you choose to include. The form does not send data to our servers; it prepares an email in your own email program, and we receive the data only if you send that email.
• Security and server logs. Our hosting and content delivery provider may process technical data such as IP address, requested page, date and time, and browser type, to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.

We do not run user accounts, online sales or analytics on this website.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries and assessing trade partnership requests, including steps before entering a contract: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b).
• Operating, securing and improving the site, preventing abuse, and managing our business relationships: legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f).
• Complying with tax, accounting, customs and other legal obligations: GDPR Art. 6(1)(c).
• Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier processing.

4. Recipients and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that act on our behalf, such as Cloudflare (website hosting and content delivery) and our email service provider, and with authorities where the law requires. Processors are bound by data protection terms.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

6. Retention

Answered enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after the last contact. Records of business partnerships are kept for the legal retention period that applies to commercial, tax and accounting records. Server logs held by our hosting provider are kept for a short period under that provider's own schedule. After these periods data is deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the data protection authority in your country of residence or the competent authority in the TRNC. 8. Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

9. Children

This site is intended for adults and trade professionals only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Cookies and local storage

No cookies. One local storage entry for age confirmation, stored on your own device and not sent to us. No analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are used. You can remove the entry at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

11. Third-party links

The site links to external services, such as Google Maps and our dealer portal, which have their own privacy policies.

12. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access, to protect personal data. Email is not a fully secure channel; please do not send sensitive information that is not needed.

We may update this notice. The date above shows the latest revision.
